Yeah I think Q2 / Q3 is fine, but that there is too much load on C19 for some reason.

Tomorrow i will take the U3 and check the voltage received.
Im not sure, but i guess when i check with the scope, the c19 pulse was high (the "ground" was higher than 0V)...
If true, what is the problem?

C19 without U3 chip its giving me 0V. When a key its pressed, i got the same pulse(same as diagram)...
I found in my notes and i forgot to mention that. In Q2 diagram, the value for key released its negative and when pressed 0V. the same as Q3-G. Dont know if this good or normal...

Ok, then it is not U3 causing the leakage ... then there is only one thing remaining ... there is a short on the PCB around C19 ... and if not ... I must give up I'm afraid ....

The rest looks all normal to me.

When I built mine I had EXACTLY the same symptoms. Try replacing the S&H cap. Those mylar guys are very easy to destroy when you solder them in. The way around it is to hook an alligator clip between the device body and the solder joint to dissipate the heat.

Hi Mongo,

I replace 3 times. the first one without the alligator clips, the second one i forgot to use in one side, but the 3rd i used in both sides... I think i dont have nothing to lose and solder one more time... or just use alligator jumpers to see if this solve my problem.
Time to check.....

Nothing....
I test with more 2 styroflex caps. its hard to believe they are not working...
Can i change for another kind of caps, just to see if the voltage its draining from there?
