beer

Tonight I finished wiring up and testing the core my home built modular, mostly using Thomas Henry circuits from Analog Synth for the 21st Century.

The MIDI->CV qualifies as TH too, as it's a modified MTS-100. So I finally have the key pieces, keyboard, EG, VCO/VCF/VCA. I've added a Quantizer (using the Barton Circuits simple board) and a Glide (plucked out of Ray Wilson's utility distribution circuit).

The power supply (A PSOne) is the only component I haven't at least soldered myself, and right now the only professionally made PCBs are the El Cerrito and the Barton Quantizer.

Second VCO (x4046 rather than ASft21C), and LFO (the new one) will be coming along soon.

MANY thanks to Fonik, Tim Servo, everyone else here who has been so supportive and helpful, and especially Thomas himself!

I recorded a demo song to play with--a pretty pedestrian patch and certainly not original music, but proof that it works!
