Alesis HR16B EPROM Editor Software Subject description: Add your own samples and sample names to the Alesis HR-16/HR-16B |
 |
|
I have just finished an application for generating custom EPROM's for the Alesis HR-16 and HR-16B drum machines. It will allow you to add your own samples and sample names.
A sample package can be downloaded at the link below, which includes the manual, screenshots, and a set of EPROM files created using the application, that will replace the samples in the HR-16/HR-16B with samples from the TR-505, TR-707, TR-727, TR-808, and TR-909 drum machines.
Sample Package: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?a99nfarisea908f
Just the Manual: http://www.mediafire.com/view/?x3h3ad1raqdnsbz
Entire Application: http://store.payloadz.com/details/1338640
Feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

Great project! Unfortunately this will probably create a run on these drum machines on ebay.

Any chance of a hack for the Yammie RY30? Or is that beyond scope? _________________ ACHTUNG!

| wow, what a brilliant idea! Like a few people, I'll keep an eye out for a used HR16. RY30 would be good too yeah, as would SR16, which I seem to recall has velocity switched samples on some of the pads? |

Cool stuff... HR16 is the first drum machine I ever bought, still have it in my collection (just can't part with it). It'll be fun to try something new with it... thanks for doing this.

Very cool! I have a HR-16, but unfortunately no EPROM programmer... You don't offer a programming service by any chance? |
