I owned a Nord Piano and absolutely loved it. I had to sell it last month and now I have a bit of money to buy another piano, but not enough to get another Nord. I have $800 on Paypal and so that is my max including tax and shipping.

I have speakers and so that isn't a must, but it would be a nice plus of they were built in. I saw a Casio AP-220 on EBay for $800 and free shipping and it looks like an upright piano complete with the three pedals which could also be nice... and it would look good in my apartment as well.

I am adaptable with its looks and functionality, but I definitely want 88 weighted keys and I want a beautiful grand piano sound. I am also up for considering buying used.

Thanks for any suggestions!

KURZWEIL SP2X?

Great keyboard, great sounds and probably possible to get for 500-800 USD.

You should try one before you buy.

Looks good, but I can't find one online for less than $1000 and I do not see one at all on EBay or Craigslist.

I can understand why there are few used ones out there. The SP2X has USB midi and is also one of the better midi controller keyboards out there. If you have one of these, then there is not really any good reason for selling it.
