Hello all,

I've just joined the forum after looking for an active forum full of iPad musicians!

I downloaded Magellan last night and I'm really enjoying it. Just wondering about the sequencer. Does anyone know how to hold down a note so I can use it to trigger an arpeggiator? Thanks in advance! I made the song below using the sequencer as an arpeggiator, but doing it this way loses the blending/glide? effect that would happen if the sequencer triggers the arp as each programmed note starts the note afresh.

Hope I'm making some sort of sense! I broke my arm a few days ago and I think the painkillers are clouding my brain! And I made this song in a few mins, so don't expect much! It was more of an experiment.

On the left side next to the keyboard is a Hold switch....is that what you're looking for?

Nah the hold switch doesn't apply to the Sequencer? I'm trying to make the sequencer hold down a note so it plays long enough to play the arpeggio.

Ok, I think I see what you're trying to do....hmmmm, not sure if it's possible. Seems that the sequencer feeds the synth directly, not 'thru' the keyboard. The Arp is triggered off the keyboard though.

I'll play around with it some more though and see if it's possible. Did you contact the developer about doing this?
