Hi Para X
No cutoff sir. Should have enough in stock for a few months even after all the preorders are processed.
Thanks

To MuBase: I split your topic from this one about your LFO troubles and put it here:
http://electro-music.com/forum/topic-56725.html
The reason was is that I felt it would get a better response by giving it a topic of it's own. This thread is really for board ordering. Now I can go over there and help out
Thanks for your understanding.

ooh.
Im getting really excited, ive just bought two of the sn chips from that recommended seller (because i was paranoid theyd disapear ) and also picked up a sn controller PCB from teh for sale forum.
So will have a little 'monosynth' of the two T Henry SN Voice PCBs.

a great companion to the SN76477 Voice!?

Matthias makes an interesting point here. Just imagine if we lived in the halcyon days of cheap SN76477 chips at Radio Shack again. With a pair of these and not too many extra parts we could have come up with a very complete synth voice on an extremely small foot print. Apart from the missing VCF, such a combination would have been the equivalent of the Octave Plateau Kitten synth whose PCB was easily 10 times as big! I'm not kidding, either, having ripping into those those things quite a bit to tweak and tune them. |

OK, ordered the PCB now!
So thats my SN voice, SN controller and 2 sn chips ordered!
I also was given a load of old pcs from work, might try to fashion some sort of case from one...
In terms of a VCF, I guess the mankato would be the most fitting filter, but have a number of thomas white lopass gate pcbs which would probably be a good companion. And or fonik's korg resonators!
cheers, Ben |

Thanks Ben.
You might also want to try this Yusynth Steiner-Parker VCF that is quite easy to construct and has parts that are easily obtainable. It is very well documented with schematic, BOM, and panel wiring.

Or use some matched transistors in a pinch.

Oh really? I just got my Minibrute a few weeks ago and I really love it ! The super saw and waveform mixing is nice and the sub oscillator really adds the bottom I like ! The multimode filter sounds great as I expected it would.

Hi Guys. I should have my stock of SN Voice boards by the end of next week. A few days later than anticipated. I wanted to keep you all in the loop.Boards should start shipping by March 11.
There will be stock beyond the amount that were preordered, about 30 boards, so if anyone wants a board, they can order one. No limit to the buy, first come first served basis.
Thanks.

Excellent.
Ive got my SN chipsx2, and my Super Controller PCB from the for sale section.
Ive also got some old PC cases which i think might make quite a cool enclosure for all this.
Planning on adding a couple of hexinverter's sympleseqs, and a VCF, make a cool little standalone sequenced box.
By the way, my backlog is enormous so dont read this as me being impatient!
Cheers

All boards purchased thus far have been shipped.
Seems like international shipping rates have more then doubled !! The US postal service is crying and claiming they are going broke. they are such fucking liars !! Its more like corruption and mismanagement. What use to cost me literally $4.50 to UK is now $9.45. As a result, I now have to charge international shipping of $10.00. Sorry gang !

Thank you Mike for those very kind words. This is probably the best response that anyone could want. Enjoy the builds and be sure to post your pictures AND any music you create using your SN Voice synthesizers.
Thomas Henry, with Scott Stites assistance, really did a fine job on this design, I just simply made it available to the world. Literally 100's have been sold to enthusiasts all over the globe. This is a good feeling.
I am waiting for the SN Voice music thread !! There are plenty out there, lets get some chipper tunes going !!
