hey all, so there are these male pcb connectors that you can solder into a pcb for connecting to panels. example:

http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/TE-Connectivity/640456-2/?qs=%2fha2pyFaduhbIktXaNQSh0xBJlCJ75wATtIP6yCJQl0%3d

however, the only female counterpart i can find are the ones that dont have wires connected; they are for crimping. i see pictures of people using what look like pre-made harnesses that have a female connector, about 10" of wire, and a stripped end. does anyone have a mouser part, or link, to these? what do i search for? stripping a bunch of wire is like my least favorite activity; i think i could finish alot more modules if i could just buy those in bulk, and skip all that stripping. thanks, rj

Have a look here

I have ordered up some of the female leads. Are they the sort of thing you were looking for?

thanks-close! now imagine that those wiring assemblies had harnesses only on ONE side, not both. if the other side were stripped wire, then that's exactly what i was hoping for.

or, i could just buy pre-stripped lengths, and get to crimping. i just wanna find a way to bypass stripping a bunch of 10" lengths of 22 or 24 wire. something about it makes my fawking brain want to implode.

just a tip
search on ebay for "dupont 24AWG" This will bring up bulk lots of 25 to 1000 pieces
dupont is the type of connector used all over computers - 1pin, 2pin, 3pin etc

24AWG is a bit thicker wire than the standard 25AWG used in PCs, therefore a bit stronger and can handle being moved and bent around a few more times than the regular PC wire.
