Hi Dale,
Thanks for the kind words on Aubrey. The new dog is named Dirac. We took him out to exercise in the pasture this AM, it was snowing. Strange weather here in terms of the past 12 years but actually more like the winters of yore Our dog before dog before last was a GSD and was the best dog I ever had. This pup will have to work hard to beat him, but I'm already impressed with how reasonable his behavior is around livestock and have high expectations for him. Again, good to “see” you:) _________________ The question is not whether they can talk or reason, but whether they can suffer. -- Jeremy Bentham

Excellent! But why bother with the pepper? We didn't claw our way to the top of the food chain to end up eating vegetables!
Apparently we clawed our way to the top of the food chain so we could end up dying of myocardial infarction. _________________ The question is not whether they can talk or reason, but whether they can suffer. -- Jeremy Bentham

Fried Pig Ass Hole
Start with a plump pork butt that has been marinated in mud.
Cut out the rectum, clean, slice, bread with batter, deep fry and serve hot and crispy:
My apologies, a photo link that was previously in this place has been removed due to my spacing out in regard to possible copy right issues. You may find it here:
Pig bung has a chewy texture that allows it to be passed off as calamari. YUM! _________________ The question is not whether they can talk or reason, but whether they can suffer. -- Jeremy Bentham Last edited by bachus on Tue Mar 26, 2013 5:55 pm; edited 1 time in total
Just a thought Scott, but maybe you could consider leaving a little something in your will to the animals. With all the pig fat and jalapeno peppers consumed, your rectum might make an ideal flea collar for a cat!

Well, I hope you don't think I eat that.
A lot of it I wouldn't mind trying once, but certainly not a constant diet of nothing but bacon wrapped whatever.
This is, however, the bacon thread. So...
The photograph depicts a midwestern farm belt breakfast for people who work in the fields. High energy, which is required by that kind of work. Very tastey food. The eggs look perfect to me. So does the bacon. Hash browns are a little blurry, but they look properly cooked.

"Bacon sucks"
Sigh, even I can't say that. And that's the problem with pigs. They're intelligent, highly emotional, and very tasty. What a curse _________________ The question is not whether they can talk or reason, but whether they can suffer. -- Jeremy Bentham

It's not just bacon, there's ham, pork, etc. I think that's also true of beef cattle, chickens, turkeys, lambs, sheep, goats, fish, and any other animal we consume for food. They all have a flavor we humans can enjoy. After all, if it weren't for that fact, nobody would eat meat.

This looks like a task to produce. I have no idea whether this was cooked on both sides by flipping somehow or if it was just laid in the pan and fried with enough grease to cook it through and through without flipping. I wouldn't mind eating some...
