Hello electro-music people – I know Clavia has discounted their Nord Modular G1 – but I was lucky to get a Nord Modular g1 (with keys) used, but it has a some small issues, which is not easy to fix without some background information.
1. It looks like that the “power switch” is broken, so when I power the unit then its always “on” and I cannot turn it off – the unit is called 0029 and is placed as “S1” is it possible to fix this unit somehow?
2. Led nr 14 seems dead it does not light up – I have the idea that the led should light up when they are assign to a knob but it dosent light up.

Question:
- Does it damage the unit when I use the on/off on the outlet?
* Because if it doesn’t damage the unit, then I could make a on/off switch on the wire.
- Does Clavia Nord Modular g1 use some special kind of led? (if I should make a replacement)

Kind regards
TeeVee

The power switch does the same thing ... so yeah a wire switch would be ok.

If you get a new LED it may have some difference in color or brightness as there are lots of types ... but it is not really special otherwise.
