Subject description: for OB-8 owners

The OB-8 has a page2 function called KBD TRIG that allows you to trigger the LFO waveforms with the keyboard.
I've found that while this works great for the triangle, square and ramped waveforms, it has no effect on the S/H.
With my OB-8 the S/H functions the same whether or not I'm in KBD TRIG mode. The keyboard has no effect on the S/H clock.
I would expect that the S/H clock would reset with each key press in the same way that the LFO waveforms do.
The manual makes no mention of this.
I'm hoping that other OB-8 owners can confirm this functionality so I can determine if there is something wrong with mine.
Thanks.

I've asked this question on another forum and gotten contradictory responses so let me know if I'm not being clear enough.
