Hi..

I just built the MFOS wallwart power supply, and I'm hoping to use it to power a single Doepfer module, the A-105 SSM filter..

All was well with my power supply, it was pumping out a nice, neat 15v/-15v - so I plugged it into my doepfer module (luckily without the chips in..)

Within a few moments my AC power supply burned out with a nasty odour!

As far as I can tell, I wired the doepfer module as per the pinout specifications (-15v, ground, +15v) ..

Does anyone have any success doing this, or do I need to buy a ridiculously expensive doepfer PSU?

Carl
