This seems to be posted around in more than one place. Possibly a trickster, possibly Korg doing some viral marketing. Seems pretty cool though!

"Snappy" Smile

If this isn't fake, they're trying to cash in on the Roland history Smile

I don't know ANYTHING about intellectual property (except that I think the concept is Of the Devil Laughing ) but it seems to me they're making what's hot right now.

Roland's more interested in the Church slash Adult Contemporary stage performer market - After all they've got way more money

I wonder if I could squeeze one of these into a 5U panel.

Definitely interested in the drum Volca and the bass Volca. The key Volca also intrigues with its 3-voice paraphony (yes you can play triads on it).

It's been reported elsewhere these units will sell for $149 (US) each, starting in September.

Roland appears to have no interest in going after the market that Korg is pursuing. Their loss. Korg is just so plugged in right now with what synth users want.

Ultimate test will be how long a unit will last in Andy's hands - will it fall apart upon first contact, or expire within a week? Wink

Agreed. The beats and bass look pretty fun.

Almost *too small* for fat fingered freaks like me. I'd love to feel one to find out.

Good on ya, Korg! You are the winner
