just popping in to say hello, I've been looking at this forum for a few weeks now and figured it was time to join!

my main interest here is in designing and building my own digitally controlled analogue synthesiser, which is going ok so far. Hopefully I'll be able to post some schematics in the not too distant future for anyone else who wants a cheap and easily implemented synthesiser with sequencing, quantising and built in scale management Smile

Brilliant stuff. I'm afraid I lost my drive to build anything as soon as my kids were born, and after trying to pursue a career in electronics I failed as I quickly learnt that it was easier just to buy things off the shelf rather than make them. But don't let that put you off! Please post anything you come up with. There's a treasure trove waiting here chock full of fabulous jems. Very Happy

yeah it's definitely easier to buy ready made, but I just like the challenge of inventing my own stuff Wink

I'm planning to post up a two channel digital / analog sequencer as soon as I've finished refining and testing the software for it Smile
