So I have a G1. One character of the G1 is that the audio is disturbed when either adding new modules or changing patches.

Is this also evident with the G2?

Couldn't find any posts on / didn't know what to search for

Curious.

Thanks in advance.

Yes. Patch change interrupts audio but each patch has 8 variations which can be changed without a glitch. Do they have variations on the g1?

No, the G1 has no variations! The G1 is VERY minimal in many regards compared to the G1.

Almost had a G2 tonight. I guess patience is a virtue.

The sound interruptions are actually slightly worse on the g2, as that unit occasionally reconfigures modules when you add patch connections on modules that you have already placed. On the g1 sound only stutters when you add or remove modules.

The audio interrupts can be pretty frustrating. The timing of the oscillators is definitely interrupted when changing patch modules in the editor. This is especially evident during FM-type synthesis that relies upon the synchronization of these oscillators.

Ha, yea I sometimes get a weird unison type sound when deleting modules.

Haven't tested it but I will if no one beats me to it...
Does the glitch happen in slot B if you change preset on slot A?
