hi there!

this is my first post cause i really couldn´t find anything about this...

is it generally possible to change the parameters view on my G2X via external or internal controls?

for example:

first 8 steps of a sequencer are shown on parameter page A1 and it changes the view on step 9 to parameter page B1 and shows the steps 9-16 while running?

would be awesome!

thanks in advance!

welcome to the electro-music forum philpot Exclamation

Unfortunately, the Parameter Page selection does not appear to respond to MIDI or other commands.

Too bad there are only 8 assignable knobs instead of 16 on the front panel.

When I only need a visual indication of a long step sequencer position, I just assign some main step positions. For example, I have a 16 step sequencer patch that I have 4 steps assigned; steps 1, 5, 9, and 13. This lets me see the first step position and progress through the sequencer loop, and still allows for 4 more knobs on the page to control other parameters.

thanks for your help varice!

too bad it doesn`t work that way.....
so i´ll have to find a workaround with the bcr2000 controlling the sequenzer externally.

If you can tell us what you're trying to do I'm sure there are more ideas floating around.

for example:
to toggle the view of sequencer steps 1-8 to steps 9-16 while its running,
means, to automatically change the parameter pages from A to B. on the 9th 16th.

i can automate the variations, but no luck with the parameter pages yet...
