Mopho Keyboard polychain to desktop Evolver?
|Is it possible in any context or will I 'only' get as much as 'just' the note sent from MoPho kb to the MED?
I'm weighing up between a Mopho keyboard (not X4) and a Blofeld desktop - I already have the Evolver desktop; this is to leave the way open for a future Tetra investment if I need more analog...
Against a MEK and Blofeld desktop - instant polychain with the MED.
Or... a Blofeld keyboard AND a second MED.
I'm not looking for considerations against a Blofeld - I'm dead-set on getting one of these (again). I'm seeking which one out of MEK and MoPho opens up more 'warm' analog-like sounds (happy to layer my recordings etc, I don't play live (or competently)).
The keys will be used as a master keyboard at times (driving Ableton Live and Blofeld/Evolver desktop).
I already own a desktop Evolver.
I'm having a tough-time between a MoPho or Mono Evolver keyboard (poly kb is wayyyyy out of my price range).
I have, and plan to add, a large collection of plug-in processors and FX to 'adjust' 'issues' with instruments (badly worded).
I think the MoPho offers more of the creamy sounds I'm seeking (owned a desktop in the past, didn't like programming ITB, loath software editors) plus the benefit of the Tetra 'expansion' and the immediacy of already having a MED.
However, I feel that the MEK opens up new love for the Evolver I already have and will push me to push the Evolver sounds more so.
I think 2 MED's might frustrate me for programming - I'm not versed in the desktop layout enough yet to really work this thing near any potential - a consideration/argument for the MEK too.
Unless it does things that aren't possible via the matrix, I'm not wanting to really buy into an editor for the Evolver desktop yet and the demo doesn't seem to work for me.
