Hi Dougt.
Nope. Said that reflowing the solder was at very low tempeture and couldn't damage chips. Lovely neat job on smd machine but every chip malfunctioning. inMusic have no other voice boards just voice chips. Will refund but won't install chip for me! Can send board anywhere in the world but without tech having andromeda to test it on it could be a waste of time.
If I ever come to sell I could fool someone quite easily and they wouldn't notice for a while but wouldn't do it.

Update!
Vicky from inMusic rang me with good news ( I hope).
They have got two new voice boards from the states.
To save trouble they are shipping both over to me at their expense.
I'll try all three in Andy and I'll keep the best one and they'll have the other two collected again at their expense.
Very surprised that they're trusting me with boards and it certainly is good customer relations.
Now will one of them be 100% Question Smile

Fingers crossed but I might be at the end of a long road.
First board failed tuning test. Voice 2 and 16 bad second filter. Voice 16 was badly out of tune in the middle octave.
Second board flew through tuning test but voice16 was out of tune in the bottom octave.
Just put in third board and everything seems ok!!
Have to say that inMusic (especially Vicky Paramor) did their very best to sort me out. Shipping two boards from the States and paying all expenses when refunding money on first board was their only real obligation to me.
I went to all this trouble because if I ever go to sell synth I reakon there's a €1000 in the difference between a perfect one and faulty one.
All of you out there with perfect Andy's should thank your lucky stars!!!
