Don't worry about big, we're not running out of disk space soon.

Will listen later Smile

Edit: Nice track!

Hi Tim and guys
sorry i'm not english native so hope to write in a understandable way Smile

Tim your vco working well the first time i've powered it on , also the
calibration procedure it is comes in a fast way .
now i want build others 3 vco for think in poly like your build , but i've to waiting that the 2N5459 arrive ( bought 50 pics on ebay) and other some miss stuff .
For this first build i've use the 2n3906 instead of the 2n5910 , 4,7pf instead of the 5pf and 2k tempco 3300 ppm instead of the 1.87k 3500 ppm , yeahh work fine equally , but i want use the rigth stuff for the others three vco
for hear if it change some or not .
I've tryed also to replace the CA3086 with CA3046 seems the same
result but i've not dept the change , therefore back with the CA3086 just for respect the original circuit .
In the pcb layout i've change just some pad for add the screw terminals (love this terminals) and the IDC connection because i prefert it .
will post updates when I get the material to build other vco .
Again many thanks Tim for your work Smile

Hi paulstone,

I will try to post the info in the next couple of weeks. I have been out of town and super busy a work. There hasn't been much interest in the subosc divider so I have not been very motivated to post it.

Hi THeff.

I finally manage to complit the vco build.
I must say...I love it!
The square sounds very very good, specially with a bit of PW.
As you said it was easy to tune.
I have one thing with the Tri, the top of the Tri is not spiky like it should be, the spike of the Tri is in the opposit way arround, and I actually can hear this, do you have Any idea why it happanes?

Again, I thank you for this amazing vco.
Cheers,
Isak E.

Hi paulstone,

I'm glad you got the osc divider working, it's a great little circuit.

Isak,

I'm not quite sure what you are seeing with the triangle output but, it sounds like it is folding back on itself. I have never seen this on any of the eight boards that I built so I'm not sure what would cause it.

I can only suggest that you double check the components in the triangle section and make sure there are no solder splashes shorting the PCB traces since they are pretty close together.

Is there any trim for the triangle? I've seen sort of similar things in other VCOs where the up ramp and down ramp sides of the triangle didn't meet correctly, normally there's a trim to line them up....

Yes, there is a trim, but when I trim it to be centered the top of the Tri is going inside and it's hearible!

Have a look!
