Hi,

Has anyone made a layout for the Octave Switch made by Ray?

This is the one:

If not I'll do the layout myself

Thanks!

I was just considering doing something like that myself. If you do, let me know - I'd probably buy a couple from you...

I did a layout yesterday but I am not too sure how to aproach the 2.5V shunt regulator diode.

What I am supposed to do with the "Adj" pin? Should I leave it 'open'?

Also, are bypass caps placed as they should?

I put the 100K resistors of the exponential convertor there. I think they are not needed.

Someone please check, this is my first layout ever!

Just see the datasheet for LM336Z-2.5 and LM4040-2.5 ; don't connect the "Adj" pin

You have a little error on PCB - see image

Nice catch!

I'll leave 'adj' pin disconnected.

I'll try to etch one soon to try it out.

Thanks Nardu.

ADJ should be left open. Here's a verified veroboard layout.
