The Microbrute is one of my favorite synths.

I have used a dozen synths. I prefer small, toylike but powerful instruments.
My favorite is my Microkorg. Second place in my heart is shared by my Casio "Cosmo" CZ-101 and my Microbrute.

The Microbrute is amazing. It's the tiniest of my instruments but what power! What a brilliant design! What other synth can get that range of sound out of a single oscillator? The patch bay rocks. The Steiner-Parker filter rocks. The sequencer rocks.

I had a Minibrute but I never loved it like I love my Microbrute. Somehow the Microbrute is just more fun to play with.

NOTE: Pair the Microbrute with a Moog Werkstatt for a two-oscillator synth and/or a Microbrute with a ladder filter. I did, and it rocks!
