How do you create .pchlist or bank files?

I'm using the G2 Keyboard/Editor 1.30 & Mac OS X 10.3.8 and would love to be able to create my own .pchlist files. Is there some special utility I can use?

Sure, partna.

Just ust use the synth -> bank upload

You tell it what folder to put the bank into and the name of the patchlist file. It'll be in there with all the patches... Cool

I didn't have a look at the G2 pchlist files yet, but for the NM Classix you could make your own with a text editor. Just try to open a generated one into an editor, if it's still ASCII it will be obvious how it works and how you can hand-craft 'm.

Also wanted to express my joy at having decided to buy this amazing synth - what a brilliant thing it is! Thanks to all you guys for the excellent user patches - I'm truely gob-smacked! Special thanks to Rob for his contributions - this guy is on another level.

I'm sure I will contribute some of my own patches soon - the G2 makes me want to quit my job so that I can spend all my time messing around with it!
