Hey all,

I'd been using my G2 keyboard to make custom sequencers for external gear, but it's too big to take to gigs so I got myself a Micro Modular.

First day using it, I open up the editor assuming it won't be that much different to the G2 and there's no MIDI menu. In fact I can't find any way to send MIDI out of the unit to an external synth.

So why is there a MIDI OUT port on the back?

Please tell me I'm missing something, or if not - does anyone want to swap their G2 Engine for a G2 keyboard?

Thanks guys!

Unfortunately MIDI OUT is for sending signals from physical knobs/buttons only. Sad Being able to send MIDI data from the patch was always on top of my "they should have done it" list.

I had the MM and lusted after the G2 for ages simply because it has SO many more features.

Kind of silly of you to assume the G1 would have the same features! Laughing

Now you may consider getting the G2 rack as it's the next best compromise.

Sorry bro Crying or Very sad
