Ripe for hacking into my modular system - I'll have two, thank you.

Yup Very Happy Quantised too. Pads select if the sequencer plays the note or not.

On top of that you can program NRPN's and all the usual MIDI CC's etc.

Can't wait for the manual, so I can take a look at the nitty gritty details.

16 user step sequences
Step play modes
Forward
Reverse
Alternate > <
Random
Time divisions
¼th, 1/8th, 1/16th, 1/32nd
Internal or External Sync
Direct MIDI channel select
Pattern Length = 1 -16 steps
Sysex functions
Swing 50%-75%
Gate Time
Legato playback mode
User Scale setting

Although there's no direct USB MIDI to CV converter (what a shame), I think Arturia will do well with this.

I was under the impression from the video that it has to be hooked up to a computer to work, and cannot function standalone. I hope I am wrong.

Definitely standalone- I played with it at NAMM. They had it hooked to a vintage Oberheim SEM. As long as there aren't any goofy bugs, it's pretty much as good as it looks- 16-step, pitch-quantized CV, super cheap awesomeness. I've been contemplating a DIY sequencer forever and now that's out the window! Smile

I'm pretty excited about this.

I know they have pattern storage.. I hope it has the ability to chain patterns - even if it's just a one-shot thing.
