I don't know how I didn't see this before ...

Great work, Jan!

I tried to build the source but it seems that some units are missing:

WaveUtils and WaveStorage

Thanks!

Yes .. that code is not for me to give away ... I forget to document that maybe .. will look into it.

Did you use Delphi too for your Transitow synth?

Yes, Tranzistow is developed in Delphi (user interface, high level code) + SSE3 Inline Assembler (the complete audio engine etc.)

I started to develop 32-bit version of Tranzistow in Delphi 7 and later ported it to 64-bit using XE4 ... had to rewrite most of the audio engine because it was 100% assembler.

BTW, most of my earnings for almost 20 years came from developing in Delphi Very Happy

I successfully built WREN with Delphi XE2 on one of my development laptops. It looks very nice but, IMHO, for some more serious work it needs better oscillators because the existing ones are aliasing a lot and this is clearly audible.

Would you mind if I develop alternate version of the oscillators using some quasi-bandlimited algorithms I developed while making Tranzistow (but didn't use them in the final version)? DPW and/or PolyBLEP provide acceptable amount of aliasing while still being very CPU friendly ...

Thanks Are.

I kept it low profile at first, this forum was 'invite only' for some months. There were lots of issues when I first started on it and I did not want everyone to fall over that ...

There are still many issues, but all the feedback I got has helped me to find and fix those faster, so thought it better to open things up more.
