Hello all
I'm using a factory patch (actually, I think it's a Dave P patch!) in a tune and I want to modify it so that I can play a 3 note chord such that when I shift the pitch with the pitch stick, it only raises the upper two notes of the chord. Current, I am using the same patch duplicated either side of a keyboard split, but this is a temporary fix because it obviously eats up slots and DSP.
Anyone know any patching tricks that mean that only the top two notes of the chord get shifted?
Performance attached as well as a clip of the song (very badly recorded, rough first take!)
Cheers,
Angus

This may not be the best way to do it but it seems to work.

You have to turn off the pitch bend in the patch settings, this is replaced with the blue modules (set the noteQuant to your preferred bend range). Next, a KBD and MonoKey module’s output are compared and used to turn on/off the Pitch Bend signal.
Variation 2 shows settings for bending the top note only.
You will need to disable the normalised KBD signal on all the oscillators in the patch.

Brilliant! Thanks.
I have to confess, I've been sitting staring at your solution for a while now and now I finally get it! Was confused by the mixer module for a while until I realised that the value switch only lets through an incremental pitch change, not the complete pitch data. D'oh! (where's the emoticon for Homer when you need him??)
Great solution. Much appreciated. Very Happy
