Hi. I have a binson Echorec that doenst work.
Power is on. Fuses dont blow. Motor works. The green tube VU eye doesnt light up (probably becuase no signal is reaching the it). I have no output.

I have repaired non tube stuff before, and im a little afraid of probing around on this binson unit since its all high voltage.

I am new with tubes and dont know where to begin to check where the error is.
Logically i would follow the signal flow and see where the sound stops and simply change whatever is not passing audio.
Where should i begin? Im asuming that the tape is located on the right side of the schem? and the inputs in the lower left side beneath the switches, and the outs just above the switches (left side). Am i right?
Thanks a ton! Smile
