Hi all. Smile
I have been spending a little more time on building my Ken stone CGS modular,
I'm currently working on the CGS65 Tube VCA. The panel I have has provisions for the clean/dirty switch. I have not made any modifications to the circuit and when I tested it in its natural form yesterday it sounded good so the only modification to the original I will be making involves the switch. WOuld anyone please be able to tell me how the switch is wired up..? I understand it is a DPDT and connects between the 330K resistor and the lines but I'm not sure exactly how..
Any help appreciated.
Cheers. Smile
Steve.

Hi there .
I don't have this module myself , but I had a quick look at the schematic, am I right in saying you need to have the quality / gain resistor as an 8K2 while the 330K goes to -15V and switch the other way to have the quality / gain resistor as a 27K while the 330K goes to pin 1 of the tube ? ? ? .

I could sketch you a rough diagram how to do that with a double pole / double throw 2way switch .

As I've never built this and don't fully understand the mods available I can't be held responsible for any magic smoke from the pcb pertaining to anything else that needs to be modded too Smile Smile Smile

Dave.
