Hail - cult of lunetta! Smile

Here I will be posting updates on my lunetta modular, which I chose to call Aristoteles, danish name for the ancient greek Aristotle who founded the logic statements as we know them today. The synth is also using CMOS logic to determine the states of the outputs.

It's all described on my blog www.dogenigt.com which I will be linking to. It contains all the documents from the building process, along with videos and schematics.

The modules will be (in order from top left and down) the following:

- 8 oscillators based on 40106 with inputs for freq control, i.e. vactrol (DONE)
- 4040-divider with 12-step rotary switch. (DONE)
- 4040-divider with 12-step rotary switch + output for each of the 12 stages.
- 4017-based 10-step counter with output for each step and reset input.
- 8 logic gates: 6 x 4081 AND-gates, 1 x 4093 NAND-gate and 1 x 4070 XOR.
- 4046 PLL "glissandi gen" module with HI and LO pots + outputs from some of the pins.
- CMOS "rungler" with 4021 shift reg and 4046 internal osc with external clock.
- 4049 "distortion" module with white noise acting as random clock gen.
- 4049 "distotrtion" module gaining external input to clock.
- 8 channel mixer with sallen-key filter and volume for each channel. (DONE)
- Main volume + mono output module. (DONE)
- Power module with starve pot and starve button. (DONE)

Very cool! I've actually been planning on doing the exact same thing, inspired by the dlb electronics site. Make a site documenting a modular as I go along.

Unfortunately I don't seem to be able to connect to your site... I'm in China. Don't know if the host you are using is blocked here.

still busy learning and building smaller, standalone devices but surely planning to start a modular sometimes. so your blog is very helpful! thanks!
