Greetings

I have one little problem with my midi controler.
I have roland midi sound base(guitar synth), and i have m-venom synth which i use to control ( master keyboard ) rolland guitar synth ( slave ).
I connected them though one midi cable, and both are connected to speakers sepparatly.
Everytime i change sound on master kybord(m-venom) it changes sounds and patch on my slave kyboard/midi base.
I am playing with the band so it is very difficult put back the sound i wanted fast.
Plz help someone.

TY GL HF

Look in the manual for the unit that is being controlled. There are often different settings for midi. You can often set it to ignore program changes.

You could also check the manual for the controller to see if you can turn off the sending of program changes, but that is an option that is less likely to be available.

If not, then the only other option would be to make a midi filter. It can be done easily with an arduino using the midi library.
