Hi there

I bought an A6 and everything is great, except that sometimes it happens, that the Left Channel drops in Level (about 5 db). I can't find any regularities in when it happens. Sometimes its like this when I start the synth up, sometimes it happens when I turn a poti, sometimes it happens when I just play the keys. Sometimes it jumps right back to the normal level and back again, sometimes it stays at the normal level.
I included two attachement's where you can hear how it sounds when it's jumping around (A6_bug1) and when it's wrong in the beginning and then jumps to the right level and stays there (A6_bug2).

I would be reeeeally glad if somebody could tell me what the issue might be here. Has anybody ever had that problem or has a good guess on what it could be? The next technician is a few car hours aways and I have no car Smile This happens on the headphone outputs as well btw.

Thanks in advance for your help!

If you listen to headphones it's easy to hear. First the sound is coming from the right (right channel is 4-5 db louder than the left), then there is this noise and suddenly the sound is sitting in the middle, coming from both channels at the same level. Except from playing the keys I didn't do anything in that moment.

This happens on all patches, on all outs.

If the individual voices outputs are ok, maybe it's the mute transistor on the main / headphone output. Check the schematics on the service manual

Checked the service manual but didn't find any schematics. Where do I have to look?

I don't remember where to find it, but it's not hard to find since the A6 is no more produced. The things to check are in the analog master PCB schematics, sheet 3, check the 4 JFET Q1..Q4 near the MUTE transistor
