I've built up the micro S&H and after playing around with it, i've come to wish i could clock the samplings with an external clock..instead of the built in one that i also think has a too limited range.
Is it as simple as to connect a input jack to R6?
Anyone tried to mod theirs?

I haven't built the ones Ray has sent me with orders, but I would expect that it's a little more complicated than a jack to R6, but not much. Main thing is you wouldn't want to have the input at the same time as the internal oscillator; if you're using switching jacks rather than bananas, you could take the intenral oscillator to the switch lug, and then the jack to the resistor....

Except I'm not sure what the voltage range is.... if you're expecting a 10V pp LFO signal to drive it, it may need to be dropped back, since it looks from the scope shots that it's about 4Vpp he's using.

Measure your operating circuit and see.... Also it might make sense to have the trigger in about the same place as the trigger out, so you're going through the cap and diode part of the circuit on the way to the FET....
