I built a single version of the MFOS Linear/Log VCA. Now I'm working on the panel and thinking it might be a good idea to add some pots in front of the CV inputs (there are two) so I can control how much each signal affects the output... But I don't know how to decide the right values to use for the potentiometers. Would the values be critical? What's a good range to shoot for?

Hi Smile .

On my mostly MFOS blue modular , I used 100K lin pots for any cv mixers or attenuators , outer leg of pot (minimum side) goes to ground , the other outer leg (maximum side) goes to the panel cv input jack socket and the middle leg (wiper) goes to the pcb cv input connection.

Dave.

Well, I happen to have two B100K pots on hand, so that's a convenient answer Smile I suppose it's not hugely critical anyway, right? Unfortunately it'd be tough to set up a test right now... I'm still in the process of building the whole system. Sounds like it's worth a shot though and I can always switch them out later if it's a problem.
