Code:

MIDIClient.init
MIDIClient.destinations

m= MIDIOut(0); //quick way to access device 0, port 0

m.latency= 0.0;  //use this to remove all latency and send messages immediately

m.noteOn(1,63,127);     //arguments: channel, note, velocity

m.noteOff(1,60,0);

m.noteOn(1,50,127);     //arguments: channel, note, velocity

Hi,

m.noteOn(1,5,127); //arguments: channel, note, velocity

How do you get IRand to work?

For example:

m.noteOn(1,IRand(1,127),IRand(1,127)); //arguments: channel, note, velocity

doesn't work!

The aim was for SC to select the midinote and velocity at random then play it into a hardware synth (probably a korg volca).
