Hi all,

Just thought I would post a project I was working on last year. have been meaning to get it out for a while...

its an arduino based 4channel 16step midi sequencer.
Its designed as a arduino shield so plug and play (after some soldering...)

Some specs:
• 2 rows of 8 potentiometers for analog style control
• Each Step/Potentiometer:
o Note/Velocity Control (switchable)
o LED indicator
• 4 Sequencer tracks selectable through 4 position switch
• Tempo Control through a rotary encoder
• MIDI Channel selectable per track
• Start/Stop Button
• MIDI start, stop and sync
• LCD Screen, displaying tempo and MIDI channel
• 2 MIDI outputs (5 pin DIN connectors)

Have not really got a website, github repository or anything like that for it.

Would you think its a good idea to post it up in other places...?

Have a look, suggestions are always welcome, collaborations, tips and the rest...

Code, schematic, few pics and a crappy video attached.

Definitely looks cool. It might inspire me to pick up with my arduino project that's been on hold for a year or two or three! I am interested to see your code--wondering about a few things. Will the MSQ1604 work as a midi clock slave as well as a master? Does it have the ability to store, recall, launch and merge sequencers? etc.

Yes they are all features that I plan to implement. Thought I would just get the code out there and see if anyone else wants to help and or contribute.

I do have a few boards left from my build (think I spun 10??) if any one is interested then they can PM me and happy so send one out if people are happy to cover the postage fees.

I have a project-in-progress wired to a solderless breadboard (sitting in a box somewhere) and might be able to tweak your code, add a few parts (if I have them or something comparable), and get something running!
