Hi all,
Does anyone know where to get potentiometers that don't require knobs? Basically what I'm looking for is just a plain, bushingless, plastic shaft, preferably with a line on the top. I'm finding them hard to find.

The shaft is a wee bit on the shortside, and you need to paint the white stripe in by hand, but Tayda carry these, in quite a few values.

Thanks Alan!
That helped narrow the search. Also found some by Bourns, PTV09 series U-types.

As for the 'feel' of the pots, and also quality, does anyone have a preference between Alpha and Bourns or others in similar configurations as those linked above? I've heard that Bourns are a little on the loose side. But from the data sheet, they have the same numbers. 10-100 gf.cm. Also it looks like the Bourns have only 280 degrees of motion, while the Alphas have 300.

Thanks for any opinions. Wink
