I am excited by the prospect of using ChucK on the Bela board to create mobile interactive instruments http://bela.io/ I have asked directly if they could add support, but they have too much to do working on other areas. They can provide support for the port however - so I am hoping to find someone here or from the ChucK development side if they fancy a go?

Thanks![/url]

I would be interested if the board could be used as a realtime midi data processor. How many midi i/o ports (and/or uarts) does it have? I looked at the site but couldn't find the specs. Do you have a link to the specs? Thanks.

You might be able to find the specs of the board on the bela forum or on their github page - the website is a little sparse of technicals at the moment

maybe this helps - http://bela.io/belaDiagram/ I don't think the bela cape or beagle bone black has an onboard MIDI port, but analog and digital in/out

Thanks for the new link. Yeah--I looked at it and the BeagleBone and didn't see any onboard midi either.
