Hi, I'm making a VC echo from MFOS and, since I'm building it on euro, I'm trying to save space on some features and I'd like someone's opinion... will this work??

I'll omit the mic preamp section and also I'd like to merge the original signal and echo level pots into a single mix control. I understand that, as per the design, this mix can't be voltage controlled, and the CV input would only modify the echo level, but that's OK with me.

Attached is what I modded... I omitted the pot R28 (echo level) and tied R29 directly to +5v, and bypassed pot R22. This would give full dry and full wet levels, right? And then I added a pot (would 100k work?) to ground either signal... Well, anyway, you can see those modifications on the file.

Will this work??? Is this the correct way to crossfade 2 sigals in a design like this? What pot value should I use?
