Thank you kindly sir.
Yes, that's a resistor in a ménage à trois with a pair of trannies hinding under the foam. |

Nifty way to mount the pcb, did you just glue that or is there something like interlocking features? |

Thanks guys,
Yes, both. I milled a tenon out of the back of the face plate where the bracket and struts attach then epoxied it all together. An average panel takes about 10 mins to cut on the CNC router. The PCB in this pic took about 20 mins to cut (while I was drinking beer in the other room) |

Latest addition: MFOS four pole (24dB/Oct) VCF. Modded to include HP, BP, and Notch outputs in both four pole and two pole flavours. Also modded to include a shruthi/jupiter enhancement to the resonance loop that reduces the output drop as resonance increases, and boosts the higher frequencies.
Had a lot of difficulty with the self-oscillation - had to change several resistor values, and it still doesn't oscillate easily below about 700Hz (depends on the temperature!). No idea why that is.
Peter

looks great. how's the workflow with crocodile clips? was that a budget decision? |

yes it was a budget decision, but i think it is also more fast in the building and in the playing phase |

It feels good to get a build done this year!
Some issues with this -- the feedback pot works backwards (CV in, OTOH, works normally), and two pins on the THAT2181 needed swapping.
Otherwise, this is a very nice delay. Based on Ryan Williams' schematic for the PT2395. |

Seems to go good to me, this thing makes insane sounds.
Good news is that Bei Ling BL3207 and BL3102 clone chips work nicely (if at a low frequency range, don't expect to piss off the dog.) I still have to calibrate the V/Oct.
Good stuff, though! |

Nice one Alan!
Any clock osc whine?
Still want to do a euro layout for the Blacet Time machine, that has clock controlled 5th order lowpass filters, seems like a very good idea. |

nice modules alan, I like the color schema of the Karplus Strong one.
I wonder where you got the toggle switches as I have recently designed
some PCBs that use them but the switches I have seem to be just a tad
to high to use in combination with Thonkiconn jacks and yours seem to
leave enough space to even add a nut. _________________ "My perf, it's full of holes!"

For the switch, it's just a Tayda on-off-on.
No clock bleed that I can hear. |

The Bag Balm Box is "for bunches, caked bags, cuts, sore teats, chapping and inflammation". Bag Balm is a salve developed over 110 years ago to soothe irritation on cows' udders after milking but also used by humans for dry, chapped skin. I loved the container artwork, so after finally finishing the contents (which took several years), I decided to put in a little sound-making circuit, which is a slightly tweaked version of the Space4069 schematic by Synaesthesia. It uses CMOS 4069 to generate waveforms which feed a 4046 VCO. See thread http://electro-music.com/forum/topic-63269.html .
Two potentiometers on the left control the oscillator rates, two 3-position switches on each side to control the wave shapes of each (sawtooth, triangle, reverse sawtooth), plus frequency and volume controls. On the back, the on/off switch, the range switch (high, low), and the output jack. Through the eye of the cow, a white LED indicates that the power is on (9V battery).
I was thinking of somehow making some knobs that looked like cow udders, but got lazy because I have many other projects on the pile.
Here is the Bag Balm Box demo video: https://youtu.be/DrY-9-HWl7A
