Diana Behlke: Short Note on Electro-Music 2005 |

We wanted to thank everyone for their kindness and extend our gratitude toward Howard for letting us participate in the event and being open-minded about the artwork we put together for him. I wish we could have experienced more of EM2005 but at any particular moment we were traveling to and from with as many as 8 people, making it extremely difficult to keep everyone on the same page and on schedule. I have the utmost respect for Howard, Greg and everyone else for keeping things running so smooth as we, apparently, cannot even get 8 people organized: we missed Friday completely due to poor co-ordination among our group members (compounded by ill fated work schedules and last minute run-ins), made it for most of Saturday and then almost missed our own set Sunday (arriving at 4:05 and scheduled to perform at 4:30). But that, however, was because of an intense halt in traffic on I-76.
Regardless, we enjoyed what time we were able to be there and had pleasant experiences with every acquaintance made.
I wish I would have taken my camera to document some of the weekend, but it looks as if there were plenty of others doing a fine job at that. We do, however, have images of our specific performance. And though hesitant to post this here (as to not come across as vane or egotistical), I figure any one that missed our set and/or is curious about us might be interested in seeing them. These photos are courtesy of our photographer, Lowell Long and can be viewed by following the appropriate link at dianabehlke.com.
Once again, we thank everyone here for making us feel welcome and for making the event a possibility. We look forward to hearing/seeing more from Howard and crew in the future.
Kind regards,
J. Nathan Dziedzic
