Here's a physical model of a cello, EQ'd from C2 through G4. I'm hoping to put together a complete set of strings (violin, viola, cello, and contrabass), so I'm considering everything experimental until the entire set is done.

Like the violin, expressiveness can be controlled by either morph group 1 (the mod wheel) or morph group 8 (a breath controller).

I added the cello to a little test mp3 that already some violins in it.

Quite good, Chet. I understand this after your talk at electro-music 2005.

I would not have thought one could acheive such good results on a VA synth. But, I guess the way you are using the G2, it is not really a VA synth, but more of a DSP synth. Excellent. I look forward to your releasing a string section. Smile
