Finally the functions of the classic CMOS full featured 1-bit voltaile RAM IC now available in a eurorack module! Think of it like a sample hold module that only does zero's and one's. The module has analog comparators on all the inputs so that you can safely interface analog signals and negative voltages. You can take digital samples one bit at a time by clocking it at the clock input. You can also make instant changes by sending logic high to either the SET or RESET inputs. changes at the DATA input do not take effect until the next clock cycle. the internal comparator is set +2.5v for all the analog inputs. The outputs are +/-5v to be used as Audio, LFO, and logic gates simultaneously. This module can perform logical operations, analog operations, data storage, and clock divider.

I wanted to make a jacks only joystick that has nothing sticking out to interfere with the artist's live performance. the most commonly used jacks are the outputs all the way at the top. the design is inspired by the DJ mixers used by scratch DJ's in world tournaments where the crossfader stands alone. the input on the ETIT joystick is only for sending a reference voltage in real-time to be compared with the position of the joystick. it doesn't vca but it does comparator and it does XOR logic. it excels at a manual pulse width control with digital ringmod but you can also trigger envelopes from a joystick. it is unique.
