So... Here are the infos :

The “MSX tribute” is a step sequencer based on real hardware chiptune OPLL that was the first fm chip used in MSX cartridge, was the sound chip in the last Sega Master System available in Japan, and appeared also in some Yamaha synth from the porta serie back in the late 80s/90s.
The chip features 9 instrument voices or 6 voices + a drum kit (Hihat, Cymbal, Tom, Snare, Kick).
It has some hardware limitations, such as rom stored instruments and drum sounds, and a 2 operators FM synthesis is available but shared between voices.

And here are the features :

11 tracks (6 voices, 5 drum kit)

64 steps/track

steps parameters :

Note/octave
Gate Length
microTiming
probability
accent

tracks parameters :
Volume (*)
Octave shift (*)
Note Shift (*)
Instrument (*)
Time Scale (from 1/1 to 1/32)
Shuffle
Reset Step (track length)
Gate Length shift (*)
Dual chip mode (detune or fixed interval)

Full access to fm parameters of the chip, 24 in total.
At the moment, i added 4 LFOs as modulation source.
All the FM parameters and the one with an (*) are assignable mod targets.
Every parameter can be stored on an internal memory at the moment, and patterns can be changed in live.
Clock can be internal (from 30 to 240BPM, with a resolution of 96ppqn) or sync by midi in.

Last but not least, if you want to hear it : https://youtu.be/lcQ0GGneWRQ

Well, I have been working for more than a year on this project.
I've reach a stable version so far, and being unemployed for a long time, i would like to launch a crowdfunding campaign with it, in order to go on designing machines and synths.
(I've not found forum policy on being able or not to post this, if in any case it is not allowed, please delete the rest of this post)

What do you think about it ?

Thanks in advance for your replies !

Will have to check the youtube out later .. thanks for trying to find out about forum policies .. and indeed .. there is no written policy ... I'll just get fed up with stuff at times Shocked

I'll leave stuff that is of interest for the community, also looking at how people interact with others ... when product placement is the only thing happening I'll scratch my head a bit and when it happens all the time I'll get upset .. something like that.

Anyways, looks like a nice box you've made.
