Hi All

I posted some info on how to get your guitar signal to trigger the sound lab and where to input the signal to go through the vcf and vca.

Its here:

Cheers

I patiently wait for the more skilled than I to make a layout. I must
sit myself down and learn the art of schem to layout.

Great tracks, Ray. I love Mellow and Electronic. I don't want to sound like your mother but those would make the foundation of some great pieces. Cool

Thanks for the encouragement mosc. I actually did make a tune from the mellow one a while back that I would like to resurrect.

Who drew your new picture, its cool.

I'm with Jan here. The electronic track is pretty darn cool!

I've been listening to a bit of Ralph Lundsten (a Swedish electronic lounge music nutter- http://www.vaarboda.se/andromeda/index-english.html) recently- it reminds me of this.

Can the gain be changed in anyway, or is the soft distortion fixed? (ie too much distortion and the circuit won't trigger?)

Tom

So I was wondering if anyone was interested in trying to make a layout for the guitar trigger. It seems like it would be alot of fun. I know evryones got there own projects going on and these things take time so maybe we could figure out some sort of compensation.

I'll do a stripboard layout if someone can give me the link for the circuit. I'm suffering a bit of technician's blindness (searching around for half an hour for the side cutters which are in the middle of the benchtop) Confused

And here's the flipside cutting guide.
I've double checked this but haven't built it.
Let me know if it's okay.

Awesome you rock. I think I have he stuff at home to make this. So hopefully by next week I can verify. So let me get this straight. The
gray dots are solder joints and the lighter squares are the cut traces?

Hey Unkle'
I was going to start this then I noticed there was no R12. Its connected to the diode that goes to ext. gate out (which I don't see either). Was this left out for a reason? Just wanted to check before I tried it.

Thanks

It's in the bottom right hand corner. Next to D2.
Maybe you've got some of that technician's blindness like me. Laughing
