Hi folks,
I bought a couple of pcbs from Magic Smoke some years ago. I'm just getting around to building them and can't find any wiring diagrams to get them onto boards.
Does anyone have wiring diagrams for magic smoke pcbs TH-102-02 XR-VCO (2009) and TH-101-01 (2007)?
Many thanks
Ian

Hi Ian

If i remember right , the chap that dealt with the pcb's only emailed the pdf instructions after you bought the pcb , i built a TH-201 & TH-102 , i'll need to find some old usb hard drives and have a hunt for you, at the very least you could get the vco started if i have success rummaging Very Happy Very Happy

Many thanks Dave - that's absolutely fab. I haven't started the 102 yet but with all that info it should be no problem. I've got the 101 board done and the info on the 102 build was enough to help me to get it wired up roughly to get some sound out of it so at least I know it's working. I need to replace a cap where I've bunged in a ceramic for now but it needs a polyester one but otherwise I'm ready to get it into a panel. Hopeful that it shouldn't be a problem now.
Thanks for trawling through the archive for me, it's much appreciated.
As for Tim, I never waited too long for repies or orders but I know he developed a bit of a reputation for going AWOL at times and leaving people hanging which was a shame - he was doing good stuff and seemed a nice guy.
All the best
Ian
