Hi all,
I am building the TH Bass++ and I discovered an error. The BOM says that C8 is a 0,1uF capacitor but in the schematic C8 is a 0,01 capacitor. Which one should I use?

Another question: the BOM says that C1,C2, C7,C8,C9 an C10 should be mylar capacitors. How crucial is this? Does it really make a difference for the sound? For instance, C1 accepts the trigger, I would suppose that another type of capacitor would not make any difference.

I don't have these values in mylar, but I do have them in MKT and/or multilayer ceramic. Is it OK to use these?

A link to a schematic would be helpful here :-)

Thanks for the link, an heh, no need for gymnastics, my viewers (os x preview app, windows Sumatra PDF viewer) have the bend option instead :-)

C8 just determines how long the LEDwill pulse after a trigger - so you can change it's value to your likings. I'd start with the larger value and only when that results in the LED being on always change it for a smaller valued one.

With the exception of C2 I see no need for anything special for the capacitors, but then again mylar is nothing too special anyway .. so maybe use no ceramic one for C2.

Hi Blue Hell, I happen to have a high quality (WIMA) 4,7nf capacitor so I will use that one for C2. For the others I'll take multilayer ceramic. Thanks!
