Youtube was all abuzz with the release of the Behringer clone of the old Korg Mono/Poly synth. Out of curiosity, I looked at the service manual of the original to see what devices it relied on, and noted that it used a quartet of SSM2033 VCO chips, and an SSM2044 VCF chip, both long out of production.

But, given that Behringer has a habit of turning to Coolaudio to resurrect out-of-production chips, I thought "What the hell" and figured I'd pop over to Coolaudio's site to check them out. And lo and behold, they have announced a repro of the SSM2044 4-pole lowpass filter chip as a new product.

Ain't life grand!

Thanks for that Mark, I'm surprised that the synth gang on here have not responded!
