Rolling Eyes

Sometime it 's a good feeling for using real instrument samples than a synthesizer

I can see why you chose to call it Breakbeat Rock.

The tunes starts of fairly gentle and slowly builds until it reaches a fairly fast pace. And to this end it achieves its goals. It has a raw charactor that could remain even after some modifications to the tune. As you say sometimes its good not to use synths.

The bassline is well chosen and vey funky. The main line is a bit basic though the sound is unusual and quite good. The kick finally arrives at 1:40. So at this point there is some interesting rythms and a new synth sound over the main kinda Electric piano like well chosen and well mixed.

At 2:50 things start to liven up and energy starts flowing. A bit muddy but engaging.

There are some interesting ideas here. The bassline carries the tune and the mainline is good in sound if not exactly in melody. But for a breakbeat tune it could do with a bit more energy sooner. The drums at 2:30 either need to come in a lot sooner or not at all.

THis tune has a lot of potential and has a uniquness that could carry it,but it needs a bit more work in the arrangement especially the drums.

An enjoyable tune to review.
