I am thinking about buying a elektron machiene drum because it has some killer kick drums in it, with verry punchy and sollid low.
I have tried to make killler kick drums on my g2 but none of them come close compared to the machiene drum sound. Embarassed

Is there anyone who can make such a low solid punchy kickdrum on his G2?? and perhaps can post a patch or some good tips Razz

greetings and thanks

hi!

sheridan's 'kick machine.pch2' and g2ian's 'kickshake.prf2' are both capable of some excellent and massive kicks (check the archives) -- better than i can usually come up with most of the time, too... and if you really want to 'kick' some ass, deactivate the Compressor in 'kick machine.pch2'.

another tip involves doing some bass management -- this thread is a highly recommended read. following some of the tips in here have greatly improved the sound of my low-end Embarassed

http://electro-music.com/forum/topic-6655.html&highlight=bass

i'd still like to learn more about getting good kicks/drums out of the G2 so i'm eager to hear what others might suggest

This is a nice drum.]

I'm moving it from G2 FAQ to Drums for obvious reasons.
