Shocked

thought it would be easy to create a preset for the behringer BCR 2000, to run ableton live 5 ....jeeez i must be dumb :s

i have an easier time creating synthesizers and drum machines etc, with my nord G2 than i seem to be having making a simple preset for the BCR, to run live with!!!

i tried out someones live 4.1 preset for the BCR, and was not happy with the controls, in live 5 (plus i do not have the BCF control to use as the mixer side, etc...)

it seems to me, that the BCR would be very well suited to some pretty heavy tweaking with live! ...mixer settings/ clip triggering/ efx paramiters/ etc...

any help at all would be sooo wonderful!!!

Heya,

what I usually do, is assign one column per track... volume on the upper knob, sometimes pan and some other less used features on the other groups of the top button row. Most tracks will just get a 3-EQ assigned to the rest of the column, in other cases I'll assign them to one of the VSTs I use on that specific track.

The 16 push buttons I normally assign to either channel mutes (Utility's in front of some effects most of the time) or clip/loop triggers...

Nowhere near enough dials and triggers... but I tend to get along fine. Then again, I often make repetitive and boring music Wink

Just my 2 pence.

Combine a remotepatch from the G2 for clip selection and use the controls on the behringer for muting and level/fx...
