This came via email. I think it might be of interest of some members of our community.
---- Begin included message -----Hi ,
I'm emailing to let you know that the International Songwriting Competition
is accepting entries for 2005. I hope that Electro-music.com will help post
or circulate information from the press release below and let the musicians
in your community know about our 2005 Dance/Electronica category. ISC
celebrates the significance of Dance/Electronica music and wants to
acknowledge songwriters and musicians in these genres and give them the
recognition and exposure they deserve.
ISC entries are judged by influential Dance/Electronica artists and
industry professionals within the music community, including Peter Hook
(New Order), Patrick Moxey (President, Ultra Records) and Cory Robbins
(Founder/President, Robbins Entertainment). Past judges have included Paul
Oakenfold, Scott Kirkland (Crystal Method), and more. We understand that
Dance/Electronica covers a large spectrum of music, and we accept entries
in all sub-genres ranging from Trance, Techno, Breakbeats to IDM and more.
Please let me know if you are interested in a banner trade or other cross-
promotion and marketing opportunities with ISC. We would be happy to
partner with you.
Please feel free to pass this onto anyone who would be interested in this
information. Thank you in advance for your support and assistance in
informing the Dance/Electronica community about our 2005 competition.
Sincerely,
June Koh
